EDMONTON -- Climate activist Greta Thunberg has responded to a graphic decal which appears to use the 17-year-old Swede’s likeness.
Thunberg quoted a tweet detailing the decal, saying “They are starting to get more and more desperate...This shows that we’re winning.”

The decal surfaced in Alberta earlier in the week. The logo of an Alberta oilfield company, X-Site Energy Services, appears at the bottom of the sticker. The manager of the company did not return CTV Edmonton News’ request for comment.
The decal created fierce backlash, and was even condemned in Canada’s House of Commons on Friday.

and angry. This week a corporation decided not to open another huge bitumen mine in Alberta, not the government. That loss had to be channeled somewhere. Far be it from the oil industry to take any hit. Why not a 17 year old girl.
