Laundry detergent and toilet paper.

I'll just say there is a new (to me) laundry detergent that comes in strips - which saves having to use plastic containers and also to use fuel to drive huge trucks to deliver it all over the US. It is called Tru Earth on Amazon.

It gets the laundry unbelievably clean and soft. I live in Florida. We have horrible water, and I don't even have to use fabric softener now - which saves money and makes the higher price for the detergent more obtainable to people.

There is a bamboo toilet paper, but it is so expensive that I can't afford it. Maybe with more users, the price will come down.

2. Laundry Strips Are 2022's Answer to Laundry Pods

A quick search found this -

While the typical laundry detergent pod is supposed to be biodegradable, a recent study found that up to 75 percent of its plastic film, which is often made of polyvinyl alcohol, doesn't fully break down—and winds up in our water. While more research is needed into how that affects us, it's enough to make us look closer at eco-friendly alternatives.

Laundry strips, on the other hand, tend to be eco-friendlier overall, since most come in recyclable paper packaging. Plus, their compact size and lightweight design make them easier to ship across the country, resulting in a lower carbon footprint.

The link describes 6 different brands of Laundry Strips - I never knew there was such a thing!

And have for probably 5 or 6 years, laundry is my wife’s favorite activity so I can’t say exactly how long. We both hate the scents laundry detergents have even the “unscented” smell too strong.
Absolutely no smell with soap nuts plus they get the laundry clean and soft.

Little bit about them.
