California facing dangerous mudslides after storms - CBS News



California is finally getting a dry spell after a series of deadly storms going back to late December. However, communities are still facing flooding and mudslide dangers. CBS News correspondent Kris Van Cleave joined John Dickerson to discuss the damage in the state. - Aired on 01/17/2023.

But that's a LOT of water and dirt!

I always say I'd rather get rain cuz at least you don't have to shovel it. Guess I was wrong. So sad.

Lake Tahoe raised over a foot back to the natural rim. That's a lot of water too!
I guess I should be glad the snow melts of slowly at least. But with this much I doubt I will see the yard till May! My big manzanita bush is buried I don't even recognize the place where I stood and planted flowers lol.
