Time to Wake Up 287: Climate in the Budget Committee - Senator Sheldon Whitehouse
March 1 - Budget Committee Chairman Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) took to the Senate floor to deliver his 287th speech urging his colleagues to wake up to the threat of climate change. In his remarks, the Chairman discussed his committee's first two hearings on the looming costs and economic risks of climate upheaval.
