Good Carbon Friday: German Electricity's Carbon Intensity Is "Only" 1234% Higher Than France's.

From the Electricity Map:

Germany's a country run by antinukes. I've never personally been confused about whether or not antinukes give a rat's ass about climate change - they don't - but just in case anyone else is confused with respect to that, this is one of my regular postings on how much they care about climate change, which is "not at all."

For convenience, I've put the ratio between German carbon intensity, currently at 543 g CO2/kwh and France's carbon intensity 44 g CO2/kwh in "percent talk," which should be familiar to anyone who has had to listen to drivel from antinukes while the world burns.

If you are a Christian, I wish you a Happy Easter.

been shortening for all of 70+ years. I sort of look forward to becoming a "twinkle" in the hereafter, transferring that life energy to some other form--not an angel in the choir of Heaven or perpetually suffering in the cruelest place, Hell on Earth, due to human errors of action and our own limbic systems of fearful, hateful thoughts. Barrelling slowly in measured time as we know it toward the next great chaos and extinction, or perhaps evolving through adaptation/recovery, fossils fuels likely won't ever totally cease to provide energy for human endeavors nor will ALL of the new sustainable/renewable alternative types, and including, perhaps, nuclear facilities or whatever we can think of next. I'm thinking there will be a great brain drain at some point, so it's good that someone monitors the changes. Do the uber-rich even know how, where, or what would be most useful? Nations of financially wealthy people might be willing to cooperate to survive, but I very much doubt it won't be without great cost and at the sacrifice of the rest, as most be wandering around the globe in excessive heat or darkness. That's just the way humans roll...I plan to celebrate another day of "life energy" on Sunday in gratitude for whatever part's left, and quietly share a dinner with my family. In fellowship, you do the same, whatever your passionate beliefs.
