The Pinterest Playhouse
Back in January, propane prices skyrocketed and I told my ex that we could not afford to heat the big house and had no choice but to shut it down and move to my small house in town. The night we moved after spending the day winterizing the house and packing up, the 500 gallon propane tank was just above 0 percent.
At the end of last month, we got our gas bill for this place and it was $87 for heat, cooking and hot water.
We've been having alot of fun here thinking of ways to stretch the dollar and make low cost improvements. The ex told me of a website called "Pinterest" where people post ideas on whatever interests them and we've found that to be a great place for inspiration. We've taken to calling this place the "Pinterest Playhouse".
Hopefully, in this thread, I'll make posts about what we've done and plan to do and maybe even pics.
