I prefer making my own using Lightlife Gimme Lean. It's sold in my produce aisle in a tube casing like sausage. Because it comes unshaped I can use it to make almost anything that usually calls for packed ground beef and I can season it as I like. If I need ground "ground beef" I've started using tempeh.

I like them, and they're good value for money. I have been meaning to find a recipe for a good, vegan Swedish meatball sauce. Thus far, it has evaded me.

They are yummy! So far, I've only used them for spaghetti.

I'll have to check it out next trip to the supermarket. Usually the only things I buy from Morningstar are the sausage patties, bacon and sausage links.

Although, obviously, not vegan. If you live near an IKEA, you can buy the packets of dried sauce in the Swedish food shop area. It's pretty cheap.

If you're vegan, my apologies!
