New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern says country will become republic 'in her lifetime' - BBC News

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has stood by her previous comments that the country will become a republic, saying that she thinks it won't be "quick or soon" but it will happen “over the course of my lifetime”.

She also reflected on conversations she had with Queen Elizabeth II about motherhood and leadership.
