Russian ultra-nationalists call for Putin's execution amid Kherson-debacle

Alexander Dugin is not the brain behind the russian invasion of Ukraine. He is an ultra-nationalist philosopher and demagogue, whose ideology of russian world-domination just so happens to align with what Putin is doing right now.

Dugin and his followers are HUGE fans of dictatorship, but have no interest in becoming this dictator. They have political demands, but have no interest in actually being the politicians whose job it is to find a way to turn these over-the-top, outlandish, crazy demands into reality.

After the russian retreat from Kherson, Dugin is calling for Putin's death, for doing away with democracy in Russia, for installing a dictatorship headed by SOMEBODY, ANYBODY, for installing an ideological propaganda brain-washing program, and................. and he is calling for Russia to start a nuclear war TO SAVE THE WORLD from the satanic western civilization.

Oh, and if his ideas sound a little bit Third-Reich-y to you, then you are entirely mistaken: Russians cannot possibly be Nazis.
Nazis hate Russia, which makes the West the Nazis and the Russians are dictatorship-loving, fascism-enjoying, genocide-approving Not-the-Nazis.

a totally uncertain/unproven assumption -- that whoever replaced him would be against the Ukraine invasion. There's also an enormous chance that the next person would be a ridiculous hardliner. To be close enough to grab the reins, you've got to be riding along already.

He was transfered from a regular prison to a penal colony and hasn't been heard from since. His own lawyers cannot find him.
