Russian Ruble is Dead as a Global Currency as Russia Uses Yuan for Trade & Russian Company Debt - Joe Blogs
Following the invasion of Ukraine President Putin announced that all Unfriendly nations had to pay Russia in Rubles. The reason behind this was to establish the Ruble as a Major Currency to rival the US Dollar. However over the past 2 years that has not happened and Russia is now dealing in the Yuan for the majority of its trade. In this video I provide more details of what has happened to the Ruble, why the Yuan has benefitted and discuss the problems that Russia and the Ruble are now facing.
