http://mondoweiss.net/2015/10/launched-palestinian-jerusalemThe unrest marks the peak of growing tensions over the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. Intense clashes escalated yesterday and early this morning, on into the afternoon, prompting Palestinians to speculate if we are seeing the beginnings of a third Intifada, or uprising.
More than 100 Palestinians were injured in the upheaval, including two journalists.
This morning Israeli police announced a two-day closed military zone in the Muslim quarter of the Old City and limits on prayer at al-Aqsa mosque to men over the age of 50. Women of all ages are permitted to pray.
Let's hope that the Palestinian people do not fall for the rotten bait of the IDF and their paymasters with a confrontation.
Let's hope that the Palestinians stand firm, but do not resort to violence as those do who use zionism as excuse to subjugate a people.

Absolutely zero journalistic ethics on Mondoweiss.

(12,606 posts)Yes, it appears that the Times published their story before Mondoweiss, but besides having a similar headlines you insinuations fall on their face once again.
The Times: The third intifada is here, Jerusalem terrorist wrote day before attack
Mondoweiss: Third intifada was launched, Palestinian law student posted before fatal attack in Jerusalem
As one can see that both the Times and Mondoweiss have used the attacker's words in parens, but after that your weak sauce argument couldn't even spice up a bowl of flaming jalapeños.
"The times broke the story first!', ober cries, "It's a lift!"
No, ober a lift would be where an article has similarities, beyond the basic story line of 'man bites dog.'
In fact, Mondoweiss goes a little more in-depth than the times so I'll leave that to the passing DUer to read.
Once again you have proved yourself to be a tireless hero of journalistic integrity in order to shut down discussion, IMHO, and to raise doubts where none really exist, except perhaps in your own fevered imaginations.
Don't forget to pick up your anemic excuses on your way out.
