Shock: Video shows Breaking the Silence apparently spying on IDF

Channel 2 news broadcast highly incriminating video evidence Thursday evening filmed with hidden cameras by nationalist group Ad Kan, which shows ultra-leftist group Breaking the Silence engaged in what appears like espionage activity against the IDF.

‘Breaking the Silence has crossed another red line,” Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said after the report was aired. “The investigative security forces are looking into the matter.”

The videos were gathered by Ad Kan’s undercover agents who infiltrated Breaking the Silence over a three-year period.

They show Breaking the Silence activists questioning ex-IDF soldiers – who are, in fact, Ad Kan agents – about details of the IDF’s security operations and equipment along the border with Gaza. The questions relate to how Hamas tunnels were discovered, what special forces were deployed and when, what kind of gun is deployed atop an IDF robot vehicle and more.

None of these questions have anything to do with allegedly immoral activities by the military in Judea and Samaria, which Breaking the Silence claims to be interested in exposing. Instead, they appear to be aimed at gathering intelligence about sensitive IDF operations along the border with Hamas.

Breaking the Silence Under Investigation After Report Claims It Collects Military Intel

Netanyahu announces probe after Channel 2 reports group milks former soldiers for information about military activity; group fires back, saying testimonies it publishes are in line with IDF censorship guidelines.

Breaking the Silence Executive Director Yuli Novak told Channel 2 that the report unfairly accepted the version of the Ad Kan activists. She asserted her organization publishes testimonies in accordance with the guidelines of the military censorship, "the only body authorized to decide what can and cannot be published."
In a post on its Facebook page, the group reiterated that the "very classified information" mentioned in the report was approved for publication in full by the military censors.

Responding to Netanyahu's criticism, Breaking the Silence on Friday accused the prime minister of "turning Israel's security services into a political tool. This is the real, dangerous crossing of red lines, and this is what needs to be investigated."

Ad Kan’s latest investigation didn’t “expose” a thing aside from the moral corruption of the Israeli media, which is busy ingratiating itself with the public, the government, and the army. Criticism of the occupation becomes taboo, while criticizing the critics becomes the norm. Like the army, the courts, and the police, the media — another venerated Israeli establishment — has cowered in the face of the occupation.

Political persecution won't stop us from breaking our silence

The orchestrated onslaught against Israeli anti-occupation groups have led to death threats and physical attacks. But we will not be scared — we are determined to save our country from the same messianic, nationalistic, and racist forces that harm it.

But when BtS really screws up, they need to own it, correct themselves and move on, not arrogantly deny everything & attack those who have a legitimate argument against them.

That's totalitarian, fascist.

That ideology is why BtS will eventually lose any legitimacy & support they enjoy now.
