AIPAC thanks Obama for 'steadfast support'

In rare statement, Jewish lobby says president 'deepened America's support for Israel in difficult times'

"With Israel and America facing unprecedented threats and challenges in the Middle East, we deeply appreciate the close and unshakeable partnership between the United States and Israel," the statement read. "President Obama and the bipartisan, bicameral congressional leadership, have deepened America’s support for Israel in difficult times."

AIPAC has traditional conservative views, which has led left-leaning Jews to establish J Street, an organization which aims to speak for moderates among American Jews.

"As Rosh Hashanah nears, AIPAC - its leadership and staff - extends to Israel’s strongest supporters heartfelt appreciation for the work of this administration and Congress to strengthen the US-Israel relationship," the statement concluded.

Look up Lee Rosenberg.

He does.

And he's one of Obama's biggest supporters and close friends.

He wouldn't be caught dead supporting Romney.

People are often very confused when it comes to AIPAC.

Hopefully this will help clear things up.

9. Confused? I would think that it is well known that AIPAC is not loyal to any one US political party

Yet I do believe there are people out there who think AIPAC is a RW pro-Republican group.

Hopefully any confused folks will find their way to this thread.

but Obama and his supporters should play this up to show that he supports Israel to alleviate any fears that Romney is trying to stir up in that area.
