http://972mag.com/which-american-billionaire-advocated-transferring-every-last-palestinian/85580/"A few years back, a known American billionaire, Sarah [Netanyahu's] friend [...], gathered a group of Israelis and gave them the following speech: I hear that one Avigdor Lieberman is proposing land swaps with the Palestinians. What is this lefty thinking? We shouldnt propose anything to them. Deport, thats what is needed. Every last Palestinian.
The prime minister has a tough, almost impossible mission: to satisfy [Secretary of State John] Kerry without upsetting his billionaire friend too much. Or the other way around: satisfy the billionaire without upsetting Kerry too much. Two Americans and one land of Israel.
This billionaire has a group of Israelis who [eat] out of the palm of his hand. When they suddenly and savagely attack Kerry, Netanyahu gets the message: today its Kerry; tomorrow its me."
It's bad when the Israelis are practicing apartheid, but it is far worse when there are rich Americans upping the ante and suggesting the final solution of ethnic cleansing.

will ease Israel of their Palestinian problem.
But seriously, had anybody in America said this about Israelis this group would be swimming in posts about anti-Semitism.
But since it is Sheldon, hey we'll just look the other way.

(41,205 posts)Fortunately, he is not as influential as he would like to be. Thought he could help Romney to buy the White House, and couldn't. I doubt that his attempts to interfere in Israeli politics will be any more successful. (Not that they don't have some bastards of their own.)
Nasty man, anyway.

(25,699 posts)The dynamic is a little different when we're talking about one man with money and another man who likes money.
Another apples-and-manatees comparison.
