Two weeks ago, Danny Efroni, the military advocate general, decided to expand investigations into IDF officers regarding a series of incidents in which 50 Palestinians were killed.
A source familiar with the investigation told Ynet that military police collected different pieces of evidence that bolster suspicions against the officers. The source said the probe was likely to expand over the next two weeks, and could include officers with more senior ranks being called in for questioning.
The most potentially controversial issue that reached Efroni's desk regarded the events of August 1 in Rafah, which included the aggressive pursuit by Givati soldiers of Lt. Hadar Goldin's kidnappers. Scores of Palestinians were killed that day, and hundreds wounded. Investigators assigned a special team to the case. Efroni has been tasked with deciding whether to open an investigation into Givati leaders, including Col. Ofer Winter, Lt. Col. Eli Gino, and company commanders.
Now I can't say what all the Gazans believe when it comes to Israel, but some amatuer vaudevillian recently tried to sell me some stale decade old song and dance that the Gazans would rather have their Israeli overlords back or some rubbish of the sort.
After all the carnage I truly can't imagine that, and there is no data or proof in the pudding that Gazans want anything to do with Israel.

(14,851 posts)Or somebody like Alex Kane who already thinks he's a Gazan leader .( Mondoweiss)
Your commentary suggests you fancy yourself a Leader of Gaza under the 3 state solution.

(12,606 posts)As for reading comprehension, you really need some remedial help there.

(14,851 posts)Advised Hamas to reject the Egyptian brokered ceasefire that Israel accepted ( before the majority of deaths occurred)
He's a white irish Christian dude who fancies himself the leader of the Gazans .
R. Daneel Olivaw
(12,606 posts)once again when I have not suggests that you have
A) A need for further schooling in reading comprehension, or
B) The need for some kind of reality-based intervention in your life.

(12,606 posts)may I suggest that you either
A) Look into getting your eyes checked, or
B) a course in ESL.
But thanks for the kick and the reinforcement for those who are reading this that you would rather attempt to deflect from the OP to whine about some guy and sour grapes.
Is there an issue with you discussing the investigation into the murder of Palestinians by the IDF?
Is there an issue with you seeing the Palestinians as human?
King_David
(14,851 posts)That's not a remark one expects to find on a Democratic party supporting website .
Or ANY progressivs website for that matter.
R. Daneel Olivaw
(12,606 posts)Also ignoring the OP, and the attempted deflections from it, seems more the often used baggage of dubious individuals, IMHO, that do not follow either democratic principals or human rights FWIW.
Now back to the OP if you are ready, king
On edit, this constant grasping of Alex Kane, by you, for some reason when the article was not written by him suggests that your motives or fancying need a little self examination really.

(12,606 posts)to bring up fantasies and bogeymen to complain about?
And to all the passing DUers who may read this thread, please note that the above post is the 5th by the king that has nothing to do with the original post.
Ah, yes, some complain about what is Democratic and progressive while paying lip service to it.
It's funny, but I don't believe that the attempted diversion from the murders of others is either very progressive or Democratic.
Perhaps it's just me.
R. Daneel Olivaw
(12,606 posts)carry on a cogent conversation WRT the OP, and would rather discuss phantoms that aren't in the OP. I guess that us easier for him.

(14,851 posts)Imagine how many lives would have been saved had Hammas accepted the Egyptian ceasefire as Israel already had.

(12,606 posts)even though the OP article was written by somebody else.
I must admit that you have a strange attraction to Alex when no mention of him was made in this thread.
King_David
(14,851 posts)I am having "strange attractions" and anti immigrant insults as in you calling me "ESL"?
Strange indeed .
R. Daneel Olivaw
(12,606 posts)to waste DU time with your usual nonsense. You keep on bringing up a tangent that had nothing to do with the OP.
Now you're playing the victim over it?
Tell me when you mature enough to respond to the OP, and leave your victimization at the door.
