Uganda Anti-Homosexuality Bill: MPs drop death penalty

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-20463887

A committee of Ugandan MPs has endorsed the proposed Anti-Homosexuality Bill but dropped the death penalty provision, an MP has told the BBC.

MP Medard Segona said "substantial amendments" had been made to the bill but said he was not allowed to reveal further details.

Speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga recently said the bill would be passed as a "Christmas gift" to its advocates.

Homosexual acts are illegal in Uganda - this bill increases the penalties.

everyone who is offended should pick out a target legislator and send the unlucky stooge a piece of their mind or just a condom.

and gave asylum to gays from throughout the world. Pretty soon, they were still little, but no longer poor and unimportant.

Christianity gets a free pass. Even though the people pushing this are self-professed Christians, including Americans Scott Lively and Bryan Fischer (both of whom deserve nothing better than a firing squad appearance).

Look at what's being done in Russia, too, in the name of Christianity. It's disgusting.

Whew!

The fact they are calling this a "Christmas gift" is wretched and disgusting. This is where Christian activists need to stand the fuck up and say "NOT IN OUR NAME, NOT IN HIS NAME!"
