The Gay Lesbian & Straight Education Network wasn't even able to apply for Cincinnati's St. Patrick's Day parade this year after being barred from participating in 2013.

A Cincinnati St. Patrick's Day tradition will march on without a gay education group Saturday – again.

The local chapter of the Gay Lesbian & Straight Education Network, whose parade application was denied in 2013, couldn't even apply this year, co-chair Josh Wagoner said. The form wasn't posted on the parade website, and parade organizers didn't return GLSEN's calls.

"We only wanted to be there with everybody celebrating," Wagoner said. "I am still a little bummed."...

I hated going to Cincinnati. What a blue law city.
I will never forget going down early on Easter one year because I had very early meetings on Monday. The whole damn town was closed. I could not even find a burger joint open.

So while it truly stinks that LGBT is excluded, can't say I am surprised.
