I tried to watch Darjeeling Limited, but it struck me as tedious. Life Aquatic, OTOH, is one of my favorite modern films - and is his style part of some film school of style, or just considered his way? Because his films all seem to be derivative to some extent of French filmmaker Caro and Jeunet - Delicatessen and City of Lost Children? And similar to that children's film about the underground city with the failing power generator.
