I'm getting stress reduction through breathing exercises (also called meditation but

I don't mean the religious kind of meditation).

It's working well for me and it's drug free. I simply concentrate on breathing in and breathing out slowly and calmly. I concentrate on that and if a stray thought appears in my mind, I gently push it aside and go back to the breathing.

I'm no longer getting stressed out by "small stuff." It's wonderful.

by Dr. Andrew Weil for better breathing and to go to sleep.

He has several exercises - for energy, for meditation and for stress reduction.

I never finish the stress reduction exercise before I fall asleep.

ocean, rainforest, etc and I used to play the ocean one every night to help me sleep. I should start using it again. The ocean sound was really effective because of the rhythmic sound of waves crashing on the shore...it's like the breathing exercise...
