Prostate experiences - Nukes or Knives - anecdotal experiences

I'm not asking for advice here, but I'd be interested to hear about other's experiences, both with robotic surgery (Not open surgery) and radiation.

I've been diagnosed with prostate cancer, but the tumor is slow growing enough that surgery can wait until October.

And I'm going with the surgery. One of the top 5 guys in the country and I know someone who had this done by the same guy last year, so I'm good with it.

And I really don't want to just go down the rabbit hole of Google - not because I'm lazy, but because I'm sure that I'll scare the piss out of myself (sorry, bad incontinence joke).

@ NIH, 80 years old, and very satisfied. They do regular follow up. He took meds, and for 3 years after, estrogen injection.

The last two or three weeks of the radiation treatments, he had a few issues. (Not feeling very good, trouble peeing so needed a catheter). It all cleared up after the treatments were done. He is now 90 years old and doing great. Very low PSA.
Wishing you the best with whatever you choose for treatment. I know so many men who have had either surgery or radiation treatments for this and ALL of them are doing really well.
