COPIED: Ladies...it is September -- Ovarian Cancer Awareness month!! KNOW THE SIGNS

and symptoms.... Often they are silent for too long!! Talk to your doctor and be your own advocate if you feel something is off in your body. Hard fact to accept --- ovarian cancer is usually found too late!!! Posting for ones I have lost or have this crappy disease....
Since there is no screening test for ovarian cancer, knowledge is power.

"Let's just make one trip in." Meaning take it all; I don't want to have to worry about ovarian cancer ever.

He agreed and it was done. Instant surgical menopause and there are very effective ways to take care of that.

I never looked back.

Just my 2 cents for anyone facing what I faced.
