Re Quantum Leap
My cousin told me I should watch Quantum Leap if I get the chance.
It is on Netflix, but 20 episodes are missing, including the one my
cousin was touting about the assassination of JFK.
Some are on youtube, but the picture isn't very good.
Hulu has the episodes too, I understand ... but I can't take the
commercials.
I can't understand why Netflix didn't get all the episodes. They
usually do.

(20,886 posts)When some of these programs were originally aired, and released for DVD, future steaming was not even considered in the usage contracts. So, they can't stream anything that has original music that doesn't have a streaming license.
Don't know if this is true for Quantum Leap, but I know for a fact it is true for episodes of other shows.
That makes sense.
So I wonder how Hulu and youtube got them.

(1,999 posts)I have all the Quantum Leap episodes on video except the one where he leaped into Lee Harvey Oswald. I believe it was a two-parter.
I probably didn't record it because I didn't really enjoy watching it, like I did a lot of the other eps, but it was really well done and I wish I could see it again.

(14,275 posts)The missing episodes mess up some continuity. The series aired episodes out of order. The stories grew so increasingly hackneyed that I just couldn't take anymore. I abandoned it with a season and a half to go.
