Ladies in Black (2018) on Prime Video
This is a total escape movie starring one of my favorite actresses Julia Ormond in a role where she utilizes one of her funky foreign accents. This time that of a Slovenian refugee living in 1959 Australia.
The movie takes place primarily in Goode's, a Sydney department store. It centers on the trials and tribulations of several of the saleswomen who work there.
It is a sweet little feel good movie and Julia Ormond, as usual, looks like she had a blast making this movie.
If you want to get away from the news for a bit, I recommend this movie.
