We are TRULY enjoying CBS-All Access!

The "commercial-free" version is a great value for us. Well worth the extra few dollars compared to the lower-tier subscription rate.

FAVORITE NEW SHOWS: Bob Hearts Abishola; Why Women Kill; Evil; Star Trek Discovery

FAVORITE OLD SHOWS: Hawaii Five-O; Magnum PI;

FAVORITE CLASSIC SHOWS: Perry Mason

COMING SOON: Star Trek: Picard

CANCELLED TOO SOON BUT NOT FORGOTTEN: Elementary; Instinct

We used to DVR a whole LOT of shows from CBS in the past... now, we don't have to worry about our favorite show being delayed by late-running sports or preempted by special news reports or political addresses (or the satellite feed being rained out, or the cable being out*)

We still have a DVR, but we only record ONE show (Rachel Maddow) and we usually watch it the same night on a 30 minute delay (long enough buffer to zip through the commercials on TRMS and Last Word)

There's an MSNBC app on Roku, but we'd have to wait a day to watch highlights from Rachel's show from the night before.

*cable was much more reliable than satellite, but from time to time, it would sputter.
