I was a member during the 80's. The meetings saved my life and the fellowship gave me a family when my real one was falling apart. Thank you to all the people who helped me.

and when I leave a meeting I always feel better. One day at a time.

but I know the Alateen sponsors do a great service by being there.

Have you been to an al-anon meeting lately?
It saved my life too. I've been in since 99.

and as my mom gets older i will be taking her to more AA meetings.

Although, at the time, I laughed at it and was sort of embarrassed about how uncool it all was.
