Should be amusing watching all the drunks on St. Patrick's Day sober

For the first time. Actually, it'll probably be kind of sad.

1. Drunkenness is always kind of sad

It's also unappealing.

Enjoy St. Patrick's Day anyway!

2. I'll be making my traditional Irish stew

And letting it cook all day. Even though I'm 0% Irish.

4. Make a game of it.

As a non-drinking female who hangs around with a bunch of drinkers, I promise you’ll hear some funny stuff. Just last night, I got three I love you’s, and one of the ladies tried to kiss me! I had to go home early because I got tired of laughing.

They’re so funny, but the “I love you, man” people are the best!

Don’t be sad!

5. I suspect you will get bored w it fairly quickly

Typically as the night goes on and folks get more animated, I begin to get bored, annoyed, and end up leaving. Not just St Paddy's day either. Generally speaking.

6. I'm meeting with a group of women from AA for dinner on St. Patrick's Day

I'm bringing dessert. Many of us are long time sober, one woman has 35 years, but this is a way to celebrate that, and it's just a nice evening among friends.
