The ovarian mass was stuck on a kidney, part of the bowel, an artery and the abdominal wall. I had a blood transfusion and was sent to ICU. They're finding a bed in med surg today.
I officially have ovarian cancer.

She had ovarian cancer, too, which also affected her bowels. After surgery and chemo therapy, it went into remission.
She lived to be 90 years old.
Sending healing energy your way.

(11,563 posts)Cancer treatments have come SO far that you should expect yourself to get past this. It's the best mindset, no matter what, but this time, there are objective reasons to keep positive thoughts. We sure will.

Music is a great way to relax while in treatment. I used headphones and my eyes covered. I played the crap out of "The Erasure" by Thom Yorke and "Jack Johnson" by Miles Davis
