I lost my job 4 years ago (sec/receptionist for a real estate office) because of the slump in sales caused by the greedy pigs in the banking institutions. Since then I've been dealing with many health issues and I'm not sure I could work again if I wanted to.
My husband has been working the same place for 17 years now. When he first got this job insurance was $200 a month for our family of 8. Now it is $1000 a month for just the two of us. There are so many restrictions about what is allowed and what is not that deep down I wonder if the best choices are made or simply the cheapest.
I sincerely wish we had the same type of national health that they have in Canada and Europe. I would laugh with joy to see the giant price-gouging insurance companies go out of business.
