Chronic illness sucks

Difficult spinal tap a month ago (5 pokes to get it in; apparently my anatomy is 'unusual'). Since then I've developed new extreme lumbar pain and lower GI symptoms. So now more tests. Off for x-rays and blood work later today, likely MRI next week.

I can barely manage what I already have; the thought of yet another long-term issue is terrifying. Needless to say, stress, depression, and anxiety have all spiked.

Thanks for listening.

I have Primary Progressive MS. It took 2 years and 12 different specialists to get diagnosed in 2008.

What keeps me going is a bracelet I wear that says, "Never give up. Never surrender."

After my spinal, I had a headache for about 5 days that made me want to die. Sometimes the tests are worse than the disease.

Hang in there and try to just stay in the moment while you just keep moving forward.

but all I can really do is add my hopes that you'll feel better soon.
