I had a late brunch so I'll probably just have bits of what I fixed for that, which was:
--cornbread miniature sandwiches with ham
--broccoli cheddar cheese soup with pancetta
--spring mix salad with chopped raw veggies and Caesar dressing
One thing I should not do but I am going to do it anyway is have a chocolate milkshake from McD's drive-thru. I am too lazy to go into a store for any kind of dessert.

Whatever it is, it might be cake.

Desert. Have to conserve donuts until super midweek. Might bake biscuits or cornbread.

Delicious, rich flesh.
And I have a plethora of duck fat to fry potatoes. Liquid gold.
This is the first duck that has been as perfect as the ones in restaurants.
It took 2-3/4 hours to prepare and roast and worth every minute.

(22,069 posts)Broiled pork steaks in balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and garlic. Roasted parmesan broccoli. Spinach salad with grape tomatoes, mushrooms, and sunflower seeds. Sugarless chocolate pudding.
I'm trying the keto thing. One week in.

(38,556 posts)So buffalo chicken wings (frozen from the store)
salad (iceberg, tomato, bell pepper, celery, onion, mushroom and egg)
dessert is some homemade oatmeal chocolate chip cookies

After the cookies were finished, I put a whole chicken in a marinade for roasting tomorrow night. (marinade is olive oil, lemon juice, onions, garlic, celery, rosemary and salt & pepper) Might be the only real cooking I get to do for the rest of the month.

Along with a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
OH... and a nice brandy to finish.
