Air-fried chicken salad.* Romaine, sliced carrot and radish on the mandoline, cherry and yellow pear tomatoes from the garden, chopped cucumber, onion, red and yellow sweet pepper (also peppadews). Toasted pecans mixed in.

For dressing, spicy ranch.

Almond-flour crackers with spicy pepper feta cheese.

Pineapple peach kombucha.

Spicy chai iced tea and a square or two of burnt sugar dark chocolate for dessert.

*chicken marinated in Italian marinade

1. Boiled pork loin and vegetables

Broken day. No sleep. Firefox crash. But ... but ... but ... got another watermelon. This one regional supermarket can't seem to move much, so it was just $3.99, and they had boatloads regular, long and large, seedless. Best price of the season. Still $5.48 in Wally's.

and so far this year I haven't paid over $4 for a melon!

butter and sour cream. Not sure I will have room for dessert 😄
