I am excited about having my pumpkin soup again, the one I made two nights ago. One thing that made it so good was the toasted pepita. Also I used mascarpone in it, which almost always makes a soup spectacular.
To go with it, I have some basil-tomato chicken sausages in the slow cooker. I like to roll them up in a softshell tortilla and dip them in mustard.
For dessert, yellow cake with a chocolate-nut Elevation bar. Cup of decaf vanilla nut.

(17,045 posts)I topped a fritter with homemade ranch dip and chopped green onions. The soup has green beans, red potatoes, onion and some chopped smoky links, plus a mix of spices. I used a can of evaporated milk to cream it. Leftovers galore

Sour cream and guacamole too.
FLFC slept through our dinner but as I was posting I heard him moving around. I see that he has made it to his high perch on the couch. He is crunching on treats on his pillow. He doesn't make it up there often lately.
