I bought a case of mangoes a couple of days ago. No, I don’t need hints for what to do with them because I like mangoes and will cheerfully have a mango with every meal—mango with chicken, mango with sandwich, mango on salad, etc. this morning I think I’m about to make a spinach omelet with a side of mango.

As an aside, I’ve been tossing the mango pits and peelings onto the compost pile and some critter out there—probably a raccoon—also loves mangos.

We both were up before dawn, husband earlier than me and was back to bed before I got up. He had his fruit and yogurt and a couple of glazed donuts left from yesterday, with coffee. I had a raspberry filled donut, also from yesterday, with milk and went back to bed, too.

It was after 10a when I got up again and he was hungrily and patiently waiting for me. LOL There was a lot of steak left from last night, half of his and 2/3 of mine, so for brunch, I thin sliced and sauteed it in butter and minced garlic, with baby bella mushrooms and onion. He also had a couple of eggs and a toasted, buttered whole wheat English muffin. I just ate some of the steak, mushrooms and onions.

So far, I've just had water, but getting ready to make my mocha.

We'll be finishing off the beans and sausage with coleslaw tonight for dinner.
