Later, I've decided to make sausage gravy and have it on wheat toast with a couple tangerines on the side.

It's still winter here and I have to do stuff outside today. I want some warm energy that hangs in there on a slow burn.

I am addicted to "tart" as a flavor.

At some point, a slice of shrimp asparagus Swiss cheese quiche.

The coffee has been guzzled post 8:30ish wake-up; and now I might finish up my Thai Coconut Chicken Chili Soup for lunch and figure out something for dinner.

and with the dried spices I had in the pantry but same basics...from a rotisserie chicken, the rainbow chard was so pretty!

Gonna do a beef mushroom barley next to use up a grass-fed/finished sirloin tip roast rubbed with Montreal Steak and using a shelf-stable creamy mushroom soup carton because I couldn't find the clear mushroom broth, sliced baby portobellos and onions, and some barley, cooked and added. Think it will turn out acceptably for weekend consumption. Soup and sandwich, anyone!

he had 2 eggs with a slice of seeded rye with orange marmalade and half a red grapefruit. I had 1 egg on a slice of wheat toast with blackberry preserves (wish I could still have grapefruit. )

He had a banana and a slice of cheese danish earlier, but forgot to tell me he was out of yogurt until last night, so I have a new batch going now.
