Cup of broccoli-cheese soup with puff pastry crackers (onion confit swirls - Trader's).

Eggplant parmesan with parsley orzo.

Tart cherry kombucha mixed with blueberry pomegranate juice.

Dessert: raspberry Talenti mini-bar with decaf coffee.

p.s. tip: for those of you starting holiday baking and in driving distance of an Aldi's, 1 lb. packages of butter are on sale for $1.99. Limit 6. I bought my 6.

Cauliflower/Carrot/Vermont cheddar……will have it with a green salad, oil and red wine vinegar dressing and toasted Naan. Lemon water. Unfortunately, no dessert unless I talk myself into a couple of Fig Newtons.

I always enjoy your daily posting. Thanks so much.

Split yellow peas cooked in canned coconut milk with onion, and little cinnamon, curry powder, and maple syrup. Pork sausage crumbled and seasoned up spicy. Broccoli.

I use semolina flour for the dough, which makes the pasta extra delicious.

We got both my nieces Kitchen Aids for Christmas last year, will have to ask if they have the pasta attachment. If not, that would make a great gift for this year! The younger one (22) loves to cook and that would be something fun we could do together.

I had taken a huge dish full to the church potluck, but there was enough left for the three of us to have for dinner, so we had that instead of the chicken I'd planned to make. Also steamed broccoli with butter and lemon, and garlic bread made with Bosnian rolls, which are the size of softballs, which I split and buttered.

My Grandma used to make cabbage rolls (halupki) and even though I have her recipe, am scared to make them because afraid they just won’t taste the same.

Those rolls sound divine! The bigger, the better!

Spaghetti with a homemade tomato and basil sauce. We had half a dozen breaded shrimp leftover from last night so they got reheated with mozzarella on top. Caesar salad and Chianti. Orange slices and “My Fair Lady” for dessert.
