Quasi-Thai tonight!

The menu was inspired by a beautiful Brazilian mango. We will have a mango-tomato salsa with purple onion, jalapeno, cilantro and lime. The salsa accompanies coconut crusted tilapia filets fried crispy in coconut oil. The side dish is rice noodles in green curry sauce with spinach and a small amount of chopped shrimp. French roll. Sorbets for dessert, blackberry/cabernet or lemon enlivened by a splash of vodka. The snow is melting and I felt like something tropical.

I can get all the fresh produce a person can dream of and you get midnight swims in the ocean. This little frenzy of a meal was me kicking back at the second hurricane (Nor'easter=cold hurricane) in two weeks. I put on some fabulous music from the Canary Islands and we bossa nova-ed to Portuguese love songs until we stirred up a few endorphins. The food was grand and we've decided to digest a while before dessert. Thanks for the compliment. For many years cooking was how I expressed ALL my creativity.

Cooking has been my right brain outlet for a long time. I think a CT scan of my head would show something so lopsided, they would put me in journals.

But I have just recently taken up the clarinet and I am loving it. Maybe I will paint next.

Your evening sounds wonderful. We are having some rain, so I am hoping for a nice cozy night all closed in.

No reason not to live every day to the max; no reason to stop learning, growing, having fun. Your evening sounds cuddly and romantic. Enjoy every minute.
