We are working on leftovers - from a family wedding - & my big batch of rice and beans
Sooo...BBQ for Bill - with the best sauce i've ever tasted. Sweet heat. Incredible flavor. The guy made his own smoker and developed a fantastic sauce, but he's not telling what's in it... though it maybe contain crack, because it's hard to stop eating it!
And I'll be finishing off my rice and beans. It was an awesome batch (or maybe i'm just hungry after mashing and eatiing boring soft foods to baby my bad tooth for the last week)
You?

(22,697 posts)Unfortunately, I overcooked the tuna. It turned out pretty tough. Pasta sauce will hopefully soften it.

(7,349 posts)with lemon juice (or lime, I think I have one left) and olive oil, grape tomatoes. Flatbread or maybe I'll pick up a baguette. Maybe oranges. Or a mango! I have a really ripe one.
If I have time I might make some rice. Love sticky rice! But I am not in my own kitchen so I'm a bit limited. Good thing I love salad!

(31,170 posts)It would be great with your dressing and flatbread!

Lucinda
(31,170 posts)some veggies just taste bitter and dirty to him. More for me though! I can't remember the last time I had broccoli with a cheese sauce...that might work for Bill!

(31,170 posts)Do you use a marinade?
livetohike
(22,140 posts)for about 20 minutes and drain the water. Then I cut it into 1/2" slices and lay them in the bottom of a baking dish.. I mix a marinade with soy sauce, mirin, garlic, ginger and sesame oil and pour it over all the slices and refrigerate for a few hours.
Then bake it at 350 F. for 1/2 hour. That's it. You can mix up any kind of marinade you can think of .
