Good day, everyone!
Kicking off the weekend!
I'm working off things in the 'frig, which may not excite too many people. I think it's fun, though. I go through all the stuff and then do a little research using ingredients as my search term. And everything's fresh, as I clear things out quickly if they start looking "iffy."
One item that I plan is ricotta with snap peas, lemon, and mint.
Another is chicken sausages with kale, tomatoes, garlic and onion.

Also, I wanted to make a correction. A few weeks ago I said that the RG had found that gluten free pasta was lower in carbs. Well, he did some further investigation and found he was mistaken. It is not, overall. In fact, it's higher!
I guess he wasn't very scientific in looking at his food label sample.

(8,885 posts)Not bad...I cut way down on the ginger as we are not a fan, and next time I will cut it out completely, but even hubs who does not normally like a sweet sauce liked it..not too sweet, and a little spicy from the ginger and pepper. I was lucky and the grocery had some really fresh line caught mahi...nice and firm and smelled perfect...just right
