GOT MY STOVE BACK!!!!

Old stove/oven (12yrs old) was past the point of rebuild. We bought it from a local rebuilder. Went to the same company and bought the replacement, they come with a 3 year warrenty, and cost 1/2 or less.
Paid $280 for a gas Kenmore, only 4 yrs old, and got it home. Worked great for 3 days then the electronics suit failed. took it back and it took 4 days to get parts (they were $150, no charge to me) picked it up and installed it today!

Ever try to make a decent meal in a nuker? I can't. So back to the firepit in the back yard, cast iron and real dutch ovens!
Takes a bit longer, but is worth it!

My house is full of them and they've all lasted almost 16 years now. The oven is the only one I've ever had that was calibrated correctly.

I'm thinking of going back to the same guys when it's time to replace them. They did a great job and that six month warranty was outstanding.

We've had one appliance failure after another this year, the oven, the stove, then the hot water heater. Everything decided to quit at the same time! I told Rosie, we need to get a Shaman in here to smudge the kitchen.

I'm still heating up water on the stove to wash dishes with, while the heater is installed. Argh.

Sure makes you appreciate things that work.
