What's for Dinner, Mon., Mon. 2, 2015

I'd really like to make a wheat-free pizza crust and have a vegetable pizza, but I'm not sure I have the energy. Did a lot of snow shoveling this a.m.

So if I don't do that, I'll have some leftover pork roast with barbecue sauce, and maybe some sauteed broccoli with garlic.

with pickles, spicy curry sauce and a bit of cheese.

I was going to have a turkey melt on sourdough, but I wasn't thinking and ate some turkey at lunch, and eating any more real meat today would probably have pushed my purine levels too high, and re-aggravated the gout.

I have the cold from hell and have no appetite. Especially not for anything that'd make my throat hurt even more.

I'd like my appetite back but the spice rub on the ribs leftover from last night would not do my throat any good.

made it feel any better was ginger tea w/lemon and tylenol. Fortunately, it was over in a couple days. I hope you are already feeling better.

with onion, garlic and parsley, mashed potatoes with roast beef gravy, and a side of cabbage. I love cabbage - it's easily one of my favorite vegetables.
