still warm. Still running a/c.

Expecting more rain tomorrow so we're taking advantage of a nice night to grill out. Steaks, asparagus, sweet potatoes

I used a recipe which I took from a travel magazine many years ago. When the kids were home, I made it quite often, but today was the first time I'd tried it in years. I had a chicken I stewed on Sunday and needed to use. The recipe calls for cooked chicken, homemade noodles and sliced potatoes all simmered in chicken stock. My noodles were a little thick and clumsy because I hadn't made noodles in so many years. But overall, the dish was very tasty. Served with fresh made cranberry sauce, green beans and apple, carrot and cabbage coleslaw dressed with buttermilk ranch dressing.
