Such a thoughtful intelligent article on the importance of organic farming, esp. the connection of,,,,

THAT is what a good grower/farmer has....there is a spiritualness, a constant awareness of the soil, plants, animals, weather, ..it is deeply grounding, if you will.

My brother sent this to me, as his daughter works at a restaurant in NY state; the author of the article is Chef at that restaurant. My family, that part of it anyway, is 'into' spirituality and awareness.

P.S., my daughter, near me in MD, has a 'kitchen garden,' raises chicks, and is careful that the chicks are fed well and properly. GOOD eggs!

3. We had chickens here until last year

Mr. Dixie broke his back and could not care for them, so we had to give them away.
I am so patiently waiting for him to get well enough so we can have decent eggs again.
