Sloppy joes made with ground turkey.

Tossed green salad with Persian cukes, dried tomatoes, and Poblano peppers.

Dessert will be yogurt and blueberries topped with toasted almonds. Maybe I'll opt for a square of white chocolate instead, though.

1. Japanese night

Garlic edamame to start off.

Spicy tuna rolls with cuke and avocado.

Slaw of daikon, Napa cabbage, carrot and green onion (dressing of rice wine vinegar, sugar, olive oil and yellow miso).

2. Beer battered shrimp in the air fryer, coleslaw, fruit compote. :)

I did a banana/choc chip/walnut cake in the air fryer today, and it turned out super!

3. Field peas, buttered corn (from the Amish farms in TN), kale sauteed with

garlic and turmeric root. Salad made from garden tomatoes and cucumbers.

We're getting lovely Georgia peaches and plums.

7. It was the last bag of 2015 field peas in the freezer, but we had a

handful of 2016 just-picked peas to add to the pot! Life is good!

5. Chicken fajitas

With Trader Joe's vegetarian "chicken" strips, which are quite good.
Refried beans
Homemade guac
Donkey tortilla chips
Melissa's Naga Jolokia hot sauce on the side.

Beautiful night in Chicago, so it's out to the deck for some beers.
