A Cooks' Illustrated recipe, wherein you blend olive oil, lemon juice, and thyme for a marinade, and cook the fish in a grill pan. You take the rest of the marinade, mix it with mayonnaise, and use as a dressing -- they used boiled potatoes, but I do it with steamed green beans, although tonight I'm making asparagus.

I made sugar-free Kahlua today, from a low-carb recipe by Dana Carpender. I tried a White Russian on New Year's and fell in love (have never been much of a drinker, but since I love iced coffee it sounded like a good bet), but the Kahlua is way sugary. Let the festivities begin!

I tried a little with cream...OMG. Tomorrow night, a full Whit Russian. Boy, do I love low-carbing!

with added broccoli and mushrooms. Over white rice.

ps: I agree with PennyK above: Kahlua is too sugary. (Although, as I age, everything seems too sugary.)

TJ got home from 4 night shifts this morning and will be off a few days. She said she wanted to do dinner together, but she's asleep right now. I don't have a clue as to what she planned, if anything.

I am going to wait and see what happens.

In the meantime there are fruits, cheese, nuts and crackers to keep me from starvation.

If I can't wait any longer a chicken and veggies salad can be quickly made.
