1. Grew up cooking with it, can't do without it.

2. Mine are in daily use from breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts.

I seldom use regular pans because pressure cookers are so fast and versatile. My favorite recipes are one-pot meals, and 3-course dinners with a main dish, 1-2 sides, and a dessert all cooked in separate pans stacked in one pressure cooker and usually done in less than 6 minutes. Can't beat it!

3. I use mine often

I especially like to cook stews and pot roast in it.

4. My granny used one all the time for canning food. I'm afraid if I buy one now

somebody will accuse me of being a terrorist bomb maker and send me to Gitmo!

5. They scare me.

I remember stories about them blowing up and causing third degree burns on people unlucky enough to be in the kitchen.
