(2,574 posts)Not sure if you're asking purchase or prep. But Trader Joe's organic popcorn is great @ $2,per 1 lb bag. Just follow instructions on the bag. One tip: once the oil is hot (the three test kernels have popped)and you put in the half cup of kernels, cover and turn off the heat for 20 seconds. Then heat back to medium high and keep shaking til popping stops & you're done.
That 20 second gap helps get all the kernels popped and lessens chance of burning.
I make it in my covered skillet on the stove; 1/2 cup popcorn in 2 tbs coconut oil. Then sea salt or kosher salt and dribble olive oil to taste.
Sorry I don't know if Trader Joe's sells online.

(111,279 posts)The kernels are the same size as other popcorns and the color when popped is very subtle with the red and blue corn, pure white with the white corn.

Amazon carries Bob's Red Mill White Popcorn and I think most of his stuff is organic, to boot.
People talk about the different flavor of blue popcorn, especially, but I only notice a difference in blue tortillas, chips and atole.
