What's for Dinner, Tues., June 6, 2017

It's cool and overcast here, so I want soup but the only soup I can come up with that's fast to make yet delicious is tortellini en brode. I used Rana cheese tortellini, low sodium, free-range chicken broth, parmesan, and chopped scallions on top.

Herby turkey meatballs in pasta with tomato sauce.

Dessert: a Twix ice cream bar.

So it's classic cheeseburgers for me tonight. Nothing too fancy might make horseradish mustard.

Had a broken grill since last summer when some turd tried to steal it in the middle of the night. It ended up being too heavy so they knocked it over in frustration and effed up the knobs and dented it

Mashed potatoes, corn-on-the-cob, peas, and to cleanse the palate...

A hearts of romaine salad with a vinaigrette dressing...

After a day of mowing and cleaning up dead fall, hunger and impatience are the driving factors in dinner choices tonight

Two slider sized burgers on King's Hawaiian Rolls and a side of store bought potato salad with some added spicy mustard.

I'm probably going to make a salad later of hard boiled egg, chopped tomato, cucumber, onion, blue cheese and what ever other produce looks good.

Tea and cookies after, but I haven't located the cookies yet. The lemon and the coconut cookies have vanished. There are some Oreo cookies, but much as I like them they are not suitable for my evening tea.

Using Alton Brown's recipe, sans the celery. Also, pork and shrimp egg rolls,

h/t to Cher for the help on the egg rolls! (They came out yummy.) Leftover finger food is dangerous in my house. I've got 6 left. I sense a midnight snack attack coming...
