What's for Dinner, Sat., Aug. 19, 2017

A steak that the RG marinated for me before he left. Has rosemary and garlic in the marinade.

Crusted zucchini rounds. Zucchini is dipped in egg, then panko. I use dill as the herb. Fried as slices. Horseradish dip.

Arugula salad with pine nuts and parmesan cheese.

I'm going to pretty much replicate it for a friend who just had surgery. She'll love it!
Thanks
Then I'll make it for us later.

...so I've been prepping various finger foods all day. I had leftover meatball fixings (from Marcella Hazan's marvelous recipe) so I'm turning them into patties for sandwiches

I've got some leftover taco beef with onion and jalapeno, so I'll fix that with lettuce, tomato, cheddar. Make a quick dressing of sour cream and taco sauce, and use the last of the tortilla chips as edible utensils.

With napkins. Lots of napkins. And maybe una cerveza - o dos o tres.
