What's for Dinner, Thurs., Sept. 7, 2017

Chicken curry over rice. Topping it with chopped coriander and basil, and refreshing it sambal ma?? (sp?, help me out here, Galileo. I learned about this from you). In a rare concession to me, the RG says he will have leftovers.

I'm going to bake some zucchini bread tonight!

It's chilly today. I want something out of the oven hot with cheese on top bubbling away.

This is leftover from earlier in the week. I froze the 2nd 1/2 of the "gravy" for another time. (I ate the sausage, though, in what remained in the fridge. Doh!) With a quicky salad, too.

ps: Cher - it's "sambal oelek", or just sambal. For a primer (y'all), see this link.

(Oddly enough, the link is from Atlanta, and not Los Angeles where this is all made!)

I have no less than 4 18-oz bottles of "chili garlic sauce" in my pantry, and one in the fridge. Go Huy Fong!

I'm glad I can just call it sambal.

Can one ever have enough chili garlic sauce? I don't know how many we have, but numerous, for sure.
