What's for Dinner, Sat., Nov. 11, 2017

Potato-leek soup.

There's probably more to it than that, but that's all I'm being told at this time.

Now me, I've been working on chow-chow, using my green tomatoes. I went to our fabulous farmer's market today for the freshest of ingredients to go with. Unfortunately for the farmers, so many things were frozen. I bought cauliflower, and red and green peppers. Oh, and a big head of Napa cabbage.

1. Bacon wrapped filet mignon with baked potatoes and mushrooms

We're having our thanksgiving with the in-laws who will be out of town in two weeks.

2. mile high taco pie ... :D

my sweetheart and I have been cooking today
lets see .. Sunday we will have eggplant parma.
Monday is veggie lasagna
Tuesday will be big pot of minestrone
and Wednesday Thursday and Friday
will be leftovers ... (I love leftovers ...)

Gotta have the avocado on the BLTs.

4. Roasting a 4# turkey breast

Got a 20# bag of spuds at Costco, so I'll do mashed potatoes w/ gravy.
Also, got some nice looking organic carrots, which I'll be steaming.

Just got under way, so two hours left to go.....
